Taco Seasoning Mix

We eat a lot of tacos, fajitas and and mexican food at our house! Not only is making your own seasoning a huge cost savings it is much healthier. Have you ever read the ingredients on the taco seasoning packet???

We make 4x this recipe and store it in a bowl or old spice jar to have it on hand.

Enough for 2 pounds of meat

2 tablespoon chili powder
2 tablespoon flour, optional
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Combine all ingredients in a zip lock bag and shake until completely mixed. Add to 2 pounds browned ground beef along with 1/2-3/4 cup water and cook until reduced to desired consistency.
